School providing live online ZOOM classes needs a person to act as the patient during the live skills demonstrations. No student contact. Will work at the school five days per month and receive schedule well in advance to put on their calendar. This is a permanent PT position. Compensation will be $300.00 for working 16-18 hours but will be paid for 20 hours. Must be available for the monthly dates of demonstration classes and the hours on the four demonstration days from 12:00 to 2 AND 4:00 to 6:00, although the 'patient' isn't always needed for all of the hours each day. It will be variable from 3 to 5 hours and then a fifth day for 1 to 2 hours to help the school administrator set up the skills practice labs in preparation of the students returning to the school. Other duties of the position will also include helping to fold school laundry, dusting, washing reusable plastic supplies, and helping to make hospital beds. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lay flat on bed without any limitations. Easy work. Prior NAR / NAC experience would be nice so familiar with the skills but not required. Person will be provided a copy of the skills that will be demonstrated. No disrobing but must remove shoes to lay in the bed, and socks if getting a foot soak. Otherwise a patient gown is placed over street clothes worn. Must be reliable, either be COVID vaccinated or provide a medical exemption document.
