We are seeking a highly motivated individual who must work in a fast-paced environment. Excelling at this position you must be able to understand complex systems, multitask, communicate well with others, have a vast knowledge of automobiles. This person will assist in a variety of general labor duties including filling in for dismantlers and parts pullers. Job Duties: • General shop and yard duties -Clean up shop and yard daily • Each morning put parts away from dismantling the previous day, and locate parts • Break down tires • Put cars away daily out of dismantling and locate them • Assist dismantler and parts puller removing parts from salvaged vehicles • Inspecting parts for defects, tagging, and labeling parts • Shipping & Receiving- Prepping shipments, palletizing, wrapping, preparing labels, etc. • Use forklift to load and unload shipments • Perform extra tasks that are asked of you by the supervisor. Work Environment: Physical position that requires regular standing, sitting, bending, and lifting 75lbs or more.
