We are currently hiring for THREE Concrete Finisher/Laborer positions! Position Summary This role requires a positive, energetic, hands-on individual who can make responsible independent decisions using strong leadership, initiative, organization, and interpersonal skills to ensure the success of each project and crew member. They will need to have experience competently working in a high energy, fast paced role. Primary Responsibilities: • Work as a team member and leader to carry out day to day operations to ensure each job is performed and completed to standard. • Identify and execute best practices concerning the efficient use of construction materials and equipment keeping in mind contract specifications and safety concerns. • Observe and determine potential quality control issues and apply necessary corrections. • Ensure company equipment is lawfully operated, cared for, maintained, and used effectively. • Read and interpret project plans and specifications. • Trowel edges, run bull float, • Entry level curb and gutter • Form Walls • Run screen rod • Working and assisting construction crews • Take direction from Superintendents, Office/Field Engineers, Foreman Qualifications • 1+ year concrete finishing or asphalt experience • Ability to work collaboratively with the team and general community. • Excellent hand, eye, and foot coordination. • Proven ability to continually adapt and learn new procedures and tools. • Must be enterprising, diplomatic, and proactive at solving problems. Physical Demands This is a very physical role. Teammates may be exposed to extreme heat or coldness depending on seasonal and local conditions. Teammates must be able to do repetitive lifting and moving objects and tools that are at least 75 lbs. Work Environment: Construction site with mobile construction equipment. Work inside and outside in all weather conditions, and various locations. Hard hat, hearing and eye protection required.
