this a temp to hire, Mon-Fri 8-5 Job Responsibilities: • Perform the responsibilities and tasks assigned with the general guidance of the Supervisor/Manager • Work within a group to meet/exceed established production standards. • Make minor adjustments to maintain the greatest operational efficiency of their assigned equipment. • Load and replenish as necessary the machine with the appropriate material in an efficient and safe manner. • Determine and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate parties. • Monitor for and detect defective materials. • Document accurate information on production and packaging forms. • If operating the equipment responsible for controlling, the equipment must be set up properly as stated in the procedure. • During downtimes maintain the surrounding area by cleaning the floors and disposing of waste in appropriate receptacles. • Clean the machines and conveyors at the end of the shift. • Clean the floors and dispose of waste in appropriate receptacles at the end of the shift. • Production equipment responsibilities • Operates machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all times. • Work closely with the rest of the team and become knowledgeable of the mechanics and operation of the machine in use. • Comply with the programs within the production area Job Requirements: • Stand for extended periods of time and work with hands • Dependable and have reliable transportation • General Cleaning of production line/area and warehouse
