I recently took a ring in to Fred Meyer jewelers and asked it to be sized up. I told them was an heirloom diamond from my late mother and father. It came back from repair with a different diamond. Did not have the fire in it... I told her it was a piece of shit that was substituted for my heirloom diamond.. She asked if I had any documentation of appraisal on it. No. It was my late mothers ring. So too bad so sad. I lost. This is a very unethical place and do not trust them,. Or get an appraisal before you take it in for repair to the tune of 300.00. Beware honest people.
