Your missing a couple of real important points. The reps have never gotten a law on their side. That they didn't use the way it was written to twist it into a gateway for other things. That most people don't want. (Much like this issue. The polls show that only 12-14% of the people want roe overturned.) They want this to set a precedent. For other laws they will tie the courts up with for years.
Next most of us don't want obortions.. We just want until viability. For Government to stay out of it. That way it's s religious or medical or philosophical decision. For each person.
Christ never ordered us to stop what we feel is murder. Or fix the world. He ordered Christians to do what he told them to do.
Let them that have an ear listen. Not force it on everyone. The world has to go this way. To compete Biblical prophecy.
Christians have faith that God has a plan. Non Christians are trying to force thier ideas of what they think they have to to please God by punishing everyone into it. Or simply don't believe.
Not that I'm good at it (obviously) but I've found a good rule of thumb is. If you didn't Christ do it. Don't do it.
God gave Him complete control. He could have asked for everything to be purple. And God would have said " ok".
But he didn't stop war, murder, adultery or anything else in the world. Because He knew it was God's will. That the earth be what it was. So what makes these people think they know better than God?
