Newly forming cover band searching for an experienced drummer interested in taking a trip on a musical journey into the unknown. There is no band that I know of locally doing what we are setting out to accomplish. We’re going to be a large numbered group, that does covers of hits from mostly this past millennium. Heavily focusing on the Indie Rock/Folk movement of the early 2000’s… Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros Of Monsters And Men The Lumineers Arcade Fire Modest Mouse The Head And The Heart Feist The White Stripes The Black Keys Vance Joy Houndmouth Peter Bjorn & John Gotye Fitz & The Tantrums Vampire Weekend Rilo Kiley Portugal, The Man The Killers The Shins And many more… We will also be utilizing a percussionist too, to help round out all of the drum needs. We will not be looking to use tracks with this particular band. We’ll have a dedicated rehearsal studio to get all of the material whipped into shape. As the drummer you’ll be expected to help drive the group and any backing vocals is a BONUS! I have been doing live music most of my life and have little time for individuals that don’t want to learn the material, be a team player, engage in reckless or excessive alcohol & drug use. We will be able to take this outfit to some really interesting places with the right individuals. Bookings and all management duties will be handled by myself.
