****Urgent! Out of time! Poncho Needs a Foster now! He has been sitting in his kennel since 4/23! 2 yr old Poncho to be put down in shelter end of day 5/5! During shelter intake, he was a good boy and friendly with staff. He wagged his tail, leaned in for petting, allowed leashing, and walked to kennel with no problems. Poncho is a 2 yr old pup that needs room to stretch his legs and be a dog! He is struggling being on lockdown! Needs a Foster, NOW to live. He has shown he knows sit to get a treat, but can be on the “grabby-side”. In the play yard, he enjoys exploring and chewing on balls. Like any youngster Poncho is ready to learn and may need some help learning to walk better on-leash, nothing that can't be fixed with some guidance and practice. No dog-to-dog evaluations have been done, so there is no current information about how I might do with another dog. I am REALLY STRUGGLING and need a foster ASAP!! I need someone that will give me time to decompress, will provide a predictable routine with plenty of exercise. I am hoping that someone will want to give me a chance and will foster me and that a rescue will want to help me. I'm at a shelter in Phoenix, AZ. I have no bites on my record.
