DECO Window Fashions is looking for an energetic person to join our fun and outgoing Installation Team.
Experience in the window treatment industry is not required—however, a mechanically inclined background and knowledge of basic construction principles are helpful.
This is an apprentice position. The qualified applicant will be expected to promptly learn the ins and outs of window treatment installations to become a full-fledged, in-field installer.
We have a training path that will set you up for success.
Responsibilities and abilities will include:
• In-home installation of Hunter Douglas window coverings such as automated motorized blinds, shades, shutters,
draperies, and window films.
• Measuring for all types of window treatments.
• In-shop time will be spent working on next-day deliveries and repairing window treatments updating our inventory
list. Organization and cleaning up of the Shop and work vans as needed.
Be detail-oriented – Willing to take the time to do the job right the first time.
• Be comfortable climbing up ladders and scaffolds.
• Handy with cordless drills, levels, stud finder tape, measures other hand tools required to do the job right.
• Have strong communication skills. Willing to take the time to educate the customer on how to use their new window
treatments.
• Have a clean, pleasant, professional attitude and appearance.
• Have reliable transportation. You may be required to use your vehicle on infrequent occasions for job visits.
Compensation and Benefits include:
• Competitive hourly pay paid bi-weekly.
• Holiday Pay After six months of employment
• One week of vacation (5 days of regular pay) after one year of employment. Two weeks of vacation after two years
of employment
• PTO, 5 days Nonconsecutive after six months of employment.

• 401K matching after one year of employment.
