Quesenberry’s Construction is a commercial and industrial construction firm in Big Stone Gap, VA with additional offices in Kingsport, TN. We are currently seeking dedicated concrete finishers to join our team in both our Big Stone Gap and Kingsport locations. You will be responsible loading and unloading frequently heavy materials and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. To do well in this role you should be physically fit, dependable, and be a diligent worker. Criminal background check required. Pre-employment drug screen required. Concrete Finisher Responsibilities: • Experienced in forming and finishing concrete. • Experienced with riding trowel machines and techniques/methods of finishing flat and super-flat floors. • Smooth and finish poured concrete floors, walls, slabs, elevated slabs, and sitework. • Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel; rub and patch concrete. • Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency. • Loads, transports, and unloads tools, equipment, and supplies required for each project. • Perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities with tools and equipment. • Can work in a high production environment with safety top of mind. • Perform other duties as assigned. Concrete Finisher Requirements: • Must have a valid driver's license. • Be at least 18 years of age. • High school diploma. • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. • Ability to work in all weather. • Workers must be punctual and dependable.
