Walsh HOA is a master-planned community in Fort Worth/Aledo, Texas. At completion, the community will have over 1,500 single family homes. The site boasts a variety of amenities including numerous walking/biking trails, Lake Park with a lake area, large and small pocket parks, a fitness center and an Amenity Center with pools.
Job Description:
The position is responsible for general custodial and light maintenance duties throughout the community.
Other duties may include:
Assist with event preparation set-up, cleanliness and tear down of community events, cleanliness of common areas; some weekend work but will maintain the 40-hour week.
Empty trash receptacles and dog stations throughout community and inspect for general cleanliness of common areas and mailbox kiosks.
Repair minor electrical issues, light bulbs, switches, etc.
Clean and stock amenity center and park restrooms.
Repair minor plumbing problems, unstopping toilets, sinks or urinals, fixing water leaks, including leaky faucets.
Assume additional and special duties assigned or required to maintain cleanliness and safety of Association buildings and grounds.
Keep staff members informed of the status of equipment and maintenance needed or performed on the property.
Work week/month to be discussed and agreed upon by Community Manager and Employee and based on community needs.
Check Sports Courts and drive the walking trails daily.

Education/Experience/Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess general maintenance/handyman skills: Use of basic tools and provide own basic tools.
Must have dependable transportation, clean driving record and must be able to pass a background check.
