Tree + Construction Laborer at Employee-Centric Company

**SCOPE** We are seeking a physically strong and team-oriented laborer to serve our clients alongside our tree and construction Crew Leaders. This hard-working team member will report to the Crew Leader and be responsible for collecting and piling branches, working rigging lines from the ground, cleaning the work area, maintaining tools and equipment, and carrying out instructions efficiently on tree jobs. They will also be supporting the construction side of the company as-needed (estimated 20% of time to start). **THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE** → Has a professional, polished presence → Enjoys working outdoors in the fresh air, even during unfavorable weather conditions (a desk job isn’t going to cut it!) → Appreciates getting exercise while working → Is seeking competitive starting pay with a clear path for raises, commission, and career growth → Wants to be a part of a company that understands that employees are the first and biggest customers (happy team members, happy customers) → Is interested in collaborating with all members of the team (including leadership) to help continuously grow the company (your voice and input matters) → Has a high school diploma or GED (bonus for some college or a degree) → Is in good physical condition, with the ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted **OUR NEWEST TEAM MEMBER WILL** → Assist the Crew Leader with tree removal, pruning, and debris disposal → Continuously hone skills and techniques → Safely use tools and equipment (e.g. chippers and chainsaws ) → Ensure all sites are kept clean and free of hazards → Inspect, repair, and maintain equipment and tools as needed → Use the appropriate gear and observe safety protocols → Report any issues or safety hazards to the Crew Leader or other relevant parties → Adhere to company and environmental regulations at all times → Perform residential remodeling duties as-needed → Contribute to the cohesion of the team by being up front about any friction with any member of the team (including and especially leadership) Apply at: logstolumberindy.com/open-positions
