Now Hiring at Kaman Auctions! We are a family owned & operated automobile auction looking to hire a full-time lot attendant to assist in stocking vehicle inventory and organizing weekly lot operations. We are located in Edmonds, Washington. Searching for someone willing to grow with the company and bring their skills to help further Kaman’s success. Schedule Monday - Friday Day shift Hours 9AM – 5PM Starting Wage $16.00 D.O.E. Benefits Medical & Dental Insurance (Regence) Simple IRA w/ Employer Match Preferred Skills & Brief Job Description • Automotive Knowledge • Technically inclined • Multitasking • Customer Service Applicant must be willing and able to perform job functions in all types of weather conditions. Light mechanical work such as checking fluid levels & jump-starting vehicles is required. Must be a team player. Facilitate the movement of vehicles around lot as needed. Assist with getting vehicles running, organized, and stocked into inventory prior to auction. Previous mechanical experience preferred. Should be self-motivated, organized, and disciplined. Computer proficient. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Responsible for moving vehicles either on the lot or to and from other facilities. • Proactively position vehicles and stock inventory into preferred locations. • Responsible for observing safety policies. • Contributes to and encourages others to demonstrate a team focused, values-based service culture throughout the company. • Contributes to effective operations by providing support where and when it is needed. • Responsible for always maintaining confidentiality. • Other duties as requested or assigned to maintain efficient operations and optimum service levels. Physical Demands • Requires the ability to operate automatic as well as manual transmission vehicles. • Requires the ability to read, communicate, and interpret information accurately in English. • Requires the ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations. • Must be able to drive and work in adverse weather conditions • Requires the ability to get into and out of vehicles with relative ease. • While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time Work Environment • Work is performed in extreme outdoor weather conditions • Work is performed primarily outdoors and inside customer vehicles. • There are frequent employee and/or customer contacts throughout the workday. Education and/or Experience Requirements • Must be able to drive both standard and automatic transmission vehicles. • Must have a clean driving record as demonstrated by minimal moving violations. • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check. Language Skills Must demonstrate the ability to interact tactfully and positively with customers, employees, and management. Reasoning Abilities Must demonstrate the ability to use common sense and good judgment when dealing with problematic situations.
