We are looking for a Mechanic Helper. We are a family owned business, we are growing fast and we have many opportunities. we are looking for a Mechanic Helper. The Following are general skills required for the position: • At least 2 years knowledge working with forklift and other heavy machinery. • Ability to determine equipment condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts. • Able to Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock, verifying receipt. • Knowledge on keeping equipment available for use by competing preventative maintenance schedules, installing components, part upgrades, controlling corrosion. • Able to complete inspection records by annotating services and repairs. • Responsible for correcting deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major components. • Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the shop. • Able to deal with different type of vendors. • Able to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites. • Assist Mechanic Manager with anything as needed. The Following are the general requirements for employment: • Comply with all company safety procedures • Pass a pre-employment drug test • Have reliable transportation • Able to work in a fast-paced growing business environment • Work Monday through Friday and overtime as necessary This is a physical job; applicant must be able to: • Work outdoors in variety of weather conditions • Lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds • Sit or stand for long periods • Not afraid to get dirty • Other duties may be assigned Safety - PPE required includes steel toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles. Pay Rate: DOE This is a full-time position with benefits, company offers Uniforms no cost to employees.
