Hi! My name is Sevi and I am a textile and fiber artist residing in Astoria NY the last 10 years. I was born and raised in Paris, France where I learned sewing and embroidery working for a luxury pret-a-porter manufacturing company to pay for my college tuition. I fell in love with the textile crafts and attended multiple workshops to perfect my knowledge and skills on knitting, crochet, weaving, dyeing and of course sewing and embroidery. I love all the steps of creation, from a simple yarn to a finished garment/accessory. I would love to share my knowledge with you and show you how easy but more importantly rewarding it is. Lessons will take place at Astoria Park or my studio which is a block away, depending on the weather.
