This is a fun One-day workshop for Women 16+ who want to learn basic electronic skills while making a light fixture. This is a fun One-day workshop for Women 16+ who want to learn the basic electronic skill while making a light fixture. Have you ever wondered how to change a light fixture or put in a new plug? Have you ever wanted to make your own lamp, but thought it was too difficult? Have fun learning the basics of how it all works while creating a one of a kind light fixture.. You will make light fixture of your choice from the very beginning, including deciding what materials you whant it made of. Bring your own material or use materials supplied; pipes, wood, metal etc. We will learn how to make the cord with the plug, or how to prepare the lamp to be hung from the ceiling. Beginning to end you will have hands on experience. By the end of the day you will feel confident in connecting wires, hanging lights and doing basic electric fixes. If a shade is needed for your creation it will need to be purchased separately.
