Homebrewers are given a secret ingredient to brew a beer with and compete for the title of IRON BREWER! Are you ready for the toughest homebrewing competition? Do you have what it takes to be an IRON BREWER!? This year will be IN PERSON! However, we’ll allow out of state contestants to participate via Zoom. Brewers will bring their equipment to the shop (may setup earlier than 9am but staff won’t be there till 8am) and be given their secret ingredient to form a recipe and begin brewing on the spot. The Cleveland Brew Shop will be giving a 20% off discount. The secret ingredients will NOT be provided this year, adding yet another challenge. Beers will be taken home to ferment and the ingredient may be added anytime during the process. Each ticket is per person. If you would like to enter as a team up to 2 people, each person needs to purchase a ticket and email me who is partnered up. Beers are due to the shop by July 1st for judging. We’ll need at least (3) 12 oz bottles. Growlers are acceptable as well. The Award Ceremony is on July 9th. There will be medals for all of the usual categories: 1st-Honorable Mention, Best Name, Best Label, Most Creative, People’s Choice, and everyone’s favorite — Epic Fail! Best of luck competitors!
