A Conference for Educators to Reflect on Belonging, Curriculum, and Identity in the 9th and 12th Grades
A two-day conference for educators wanting to better support students as they enter and leave high school. A range of experts will share inspirational work and practical advice, addressing issues such as mentoring, pedagogy, and student voice.
Participants may additionally choose to engage in a year-long Action Research Program that will help them catalyze change at their home schools. These teacher-researchers will receive training, ongoing support, and a stipend. They will share their work at a symposium in June 2023.
The conference will feature a presentations by Rebecca Stillwell, Action Research Leader Lecturer, Klingenstein Center, Columbia Teachers College. As well, presenters from Minerva University, Tulsa Term at Holland Hall, Miss Porter's School, Milton Academy, Nobles, and Phillips Academy will share their own initiatives and lead workshops.
