We're celebrating Military & Veteran Families on Armed Forces Day and Kids to Parks Day!! Join us at the Zoo for a free days for families!! In a partnership with Dugway Proving Ground and Utah's Hogle Zoo, each year the Utah Military Community Linking Families event brings the military and Veteran community together for a day of fun and resources at the zoo. Hogle Zoo is providing FREE Admission to all MIlitary & Military Community ID Card Holders and their families: Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, Veterans, Retirees, Gold Star Families, and DOD Employees on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 21st. Promoting prevention and awareness of child abuse and neglect, community resources, and celebrating Military Appreciation Month; the Linking Families event brings together Utah's military and Veteran Community agencies and organizations to support the military community and their families. Organizations include Blue Star Families, American Legion, American Red Cross, Dugway Army Community Service, Department of Workforce Services, Military OneSource, S.T.R.O.N.G. Bands, Survivor Outreach Services, Utah National Guard Military Community & Family Services, U.S. Army MWR, Utah Patriot Partner Program, USO, Utah Veterans Alliance, Vet Center, VFW, Women Veterans Health Care, and MORE! In honor of this event, Blue Star Families of Utah is doing a special giveaway to one lucky family: a one-year "Family Membership" to Utah's Hogle Zoo, a $199 value!!
