Once again it's that time of the year. Calling on all Pastors to put the pedal to the metal. Once again its that time of the year. Calling on all Pastor's to put the pedal to the metal. Bandimere Speedway is providing its Dodge Challenger Race Cars for you to make THREE runs down their quarter mile track and Chick-fil-a at Highlands Ranch is providing lunch. All Pastors are welcome. It's an Open House format so you can race anytime between 10AM and 1PM. Check in begins at 9:30AM. Join 94.7 FM The Word and area pastors for a FREE day of drag racing at Bandimere Speedway. What: Open House format with fellowship, food and racing. Where: Bandimere Speedway, C-470 and Morrison Road, Morrison When: Mon., June 6, 10 am-1 pm (Come anytime during the 3 hrs.) Who: Pastors Cost: FREE - Bandimere provides the cars and 94.7 FM The Word provides lunch catered by Chick-fil-a of Highlands Ranch. Come for a chance to win. There will be a complimentary lunch for all pastors who participate in the race. Additional meals can be purchased for family and friends. Experience drag racing down the famous "Thunder Mountain" quarter-mile! Bandimere Speedway utilizes eight Dodge Challengers for our event. These cars are equipped with a HEMI V8, automatic transmission, 4 wheel ABS brakes, and generally run 14.70's at nearly 95 mph. Participants must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
