Award-winning filmmaker and photographer Sekou Luke (Notes from Harlem) and noted music journalist Christian John Wikane (PopMatters) present Unscripted Live, an interview series that spotlights the stories of legendary and innovative artists, their resilience, and their creative regeneration. For one night only, Sekou and Christian will bring Unscripted to the world famous Apollo Theater Soundstage! GRAMMY-winning legend Ruth Pointer of The Pointer Sisters will join Christian for a live one-on-one interview, followed by the premiere a short film celebrating Season 2 of Unscripted that features exclusive clips from interviews with Joshie Jo Armstead, Cory Daye, Lisa Fischer, Christian Holder, Van Hunt, Rahsaan Patterson, Janice Pendarvis, and Ray Shell.
