New England Seafarers Mission cruise ship ministry is back and underway at our Seafarers Center in South Boston. And we need volunteers! Sail and Ale!New England Seafarers Mission cruise ship ministry is back and underway at our Seafarers Center in South Boston. Our ministry comes to the aid and assistance of the multi-national crew who work on these ships. They have experienced tremendous hardship these past few years due to the pandemic. But our center is ready to help them while they are in the port of Boston. But to run this center we need VOLUNTEERS! We need help staffing our service rooms and this is an awesome way for you to step in and help. To kick off this 2022 season, NESM is hosting an awareness night at the Backbeat Brewery in Beverly on Monday night, May 16th from 5:30 to 7:00 We’ll have light appetizers, explanations of how you can help, and wicked exciting raffle prizes. The Back Beat Brewery has also brewed a commissioned batch of Ale that will be opened that night “Mission Ale” for your enjoyment.  We are looking for volunteers in this exciting ministry in South Boston. This a great way for you to find out about the ministry of NESM. Stop by after work, maybe win a raffle item, enjoy some food and, if of legal age, purchase some Mission Ale.
