Let's put into the summer with some fun and raise money to support students locally in need! The Hooksett Area Rotary Club is hosting a mini-golf tournament to raise funds for Gear Up for School, which is a backpack drive focusing on bringing together all ages of the community. Last year sponsors and volunteers filled 3,000+ backpacks with 80,000+ school supplies. This year the goal is to expand distribution to include children in the NH foster care system. The Queen City-Manchester and Hooksett Area Rotary Clubs organize the initiative annually. Join us for Putting into Summer and have fun while raising money for students locally in need. Please purchase admission ahead of time to play. It's possible to buy the day of too. The winner will receive a $100 cash prize which is determined by who scores the lowest during the event. In the case of a tie, the winner is whoever's team scores the lowest average. Scores will appear on HARC's website shortly after the event here: https://www.hooksettarearotary.org/gear-up-for-school.html. We encourage companies and individuals to sponsor a hole for $150. Each hole sponsor raises funds for 15 students to receive supplied backpacks. Sponsor logos or names will appear at the hole in a laminated 8.5in x 11in sheet attached to the flagpole. To sponsor a hole, please mail a check for $150 that's payable to Queen City Rotary Foundation to the address below by June 20th, 2022. Also, email [email protected] the 8.5in x 11in design to hang from the flag pole as an image file or PDF. Electronic sponsoring through PayPal is possible, but 3% is removed for a processing fee.
