Chancey Road Closed After 4-Foot Deep Hole Forms In Center Of Road

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — Pasco County Public Works has closed Chancey Road between 6th Avenue and Copeland Drive in Zephyrhills as a safety precaution after a hole formed in the middle of the road. The affected area is about 6 feet wide by 4 feet deep and is in the middle of the road. The county has called a geotechnical team to the scene to determine the stability of the roadway. Signs along Chancey Road will direct drivers to alternate detour routes. Pasco County officials will continue to monitor the area and provide updates.
