Join us as we kick off and celebrate Juneteenth at the 2022 Annual Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant. Tanisha Barnett and Miss Juneteenth Texas presents the annual 2022 Miss Juneteenth Central Texas Pageant. Empowered By NHT Skin & Hair Care Co., XLNT Productions, An Angels Touch HCS and Gone Mad Productions, benefiting the State of Texas Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant. Attendees are invited to celebrate with us for a special three part ceremony. Beginning with the Miss Juneteenth Pageant, the audience will witness a fun filled production presenting our 2022 contestants and we take a ride down memory lane, highlighting our Past, the Present and the Progressive. Centered around "Raising Queens" the show will focus on accepting inner strength, welcoming the power of sisterhood, unity, and embracing the pride of the Miss Juneteenth Texas Pageant as they celebrate their true royalty together. Immediately following the pageant, join us as the Queen's Mixer as we welcome our 2022 Royal Court. This is the time for our Queen's to unwind while they meet and mingle with our guest, enjoying food, great music, photos and more. For the Royal Finale, come out to the GEAYA Juneteenth Parade to support the girls as they celebrate with the community one of the oldest Juneteenth celebrations. Be sure to wave!! Goals of the 2022 Miss Juneteenth Central Texas Scholarship Pageant: 1. Create Educational Opportunities For Black Girls 2. Educate The Community About Juneteenth. 3. Empower and Teach Sisterhood & Unity 4. Educate Contestants and Attendees about African History 5. Fundraise for The official State of Texas Miss Juneteenth Texas Pageant and it's programs. Our organization also provides mentorship programs, promote youth empowerment and teach history, culture and the importance of community service and education through pageantry for the young ladies within our region.
