Join the North Texas Food Bank and AgriLife Extension to learn about container gardening, raised beds, and recycled containers for growing! Container gardening and growing in raised beds are common ways to garden in urban areas where the soil can be poor and space can be at a minimum. Join NTFB and AgriLife Extension as we explore how to grow herbs and vegetables in containers, as well as how to grow in raised beds and what types of materials can be used. We will also discuss different recycled materials and containers to reuse for gardening. Sign-ups close Friday, June 10th at 5pm. Parking/Dress: Park in the front of the building and walk in to the lobby where you will be directed to the meeting room. Dress appropriately and bring water as part of the workshop may be outdoors.
