METHUEN, MA — Police are actively searching for a man who was convicted on eight counts of aggravated child rape and took off during his trial. The Middlesex District Attorney's Office says Stephen Corbin Jr., of Methuen, sexually assaulted a 14 and 15-year-old girl on multiple occasions. The assaults took place at both a Lexington residence and a motel in Bedford in 2017. Police describe Corbin as 5-foot, 11-inches tall, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and weighing about 160 pounds. On April 14, Corbin was convicted on eight counts of aggravated rape of a child during a trial. Police say Corbin cut of his GPS monitoring device and fled after the third day of his six-day trial. Authorities are now asking for the public's help in locating him after several failed attempts of tracking him down. Anyone with information, or anyone who believes they may have seen Corbin should not approach him but should call Massachusetts State Police at 978-538-6180.
