Medfield SWAP SHOP Needs Volunteers and a Few Requests... After a long time being closed, the Medfield SWAP SHOP will open up on Wednesday, May 4th. As it has been so long, the SWAP Committee is asking the community to have patience as they get established and they have a few other requests. 1. Reminder: NO LARGE FURNITURE will be accepted! One way to decide if it will accepted is if two senior citizens can carry it, then bring it! 2. Please do not bring EVERYTHING you may collected over the past few years during the first week. 3. Parking is LIMITED. If possible, please consolidate and possibly car-pool with your neighbors when donating items. 4. There is a DRIVE-THRU Drop Off area, so no need to park if you are only dropping off. 5. SWAP Committee greatly appreciates donations of NEW large plastic bags, and water bottles for the Volunteers while working at the SWAP! 6. SWAP SHOP is OPEN the same days as the Transfer Station (Wed/Fri/Sat), but the hours are different. The SWAP SHOP hours are from 9am-3pm for SHOPPING and 9am-2:30pm for DROPPING OFF items.
