Description
I have a slightly over year old GSD/Lab/Great Dane/Weimeraner/American Staffordshire terrier mix that I need to find a home for. I am not in a rush, and I'll be honest, I'm going to be a little picky. I love this dog, but I just got divorced, moved across the country, and into a very small house. I have three other dogs. He deserves more.
He is pure black with a bit of white on his chest, and a very sweet, happy boy. He barks enough to warn you of something, but he's a giant softie, and loves everyone. Has had some obedience training, but is at the age where he will test you. He needs to be a mostly indoor dog, but if you have a big yard he will 100% make use of it. He is neutered, and up to date on his shots, and heartworm/flea/tick meds. Fully house-trained. He would need to be crated or in a secure location when you leave, as he is a premier remote and toilet paper assassin.
The home I am looking for for him: big yard, another dog, someone home most of the time.
He does love kids, other dogs, even cats, but with a couple caveats.
Crosby is a big boy. 80+ lbs, and doesn't always know his own size. Initial greetings he tends to be bouncy, after that he settles. He loves kids, but would not suggest him around a toddler, unless you're willing to use close supervision and training. Older kids he should have zero problem, other than maybe an initial jump or two. He loves other dogs, but again doesn't always know his own size, and can play rough. I would not suggest him around toy breeds dogs because of this, but 15lbs and up should be just fine. Cats he loves, but he will chase them if they run.
He will come with his harnesses, 15 foot leash, prong collar, multi-purpose lead, 4 foot lead, treats, toys, bowls, some food, and brushes. There will be a rehoming fee. Email me for more information and pictures if you're interested, but please, please don't window shop. This is hard enough for me as it is.
