HARLEM, NY — A man was robbed, hit with a glass bottle and shoved down a staircase at a Harlem subway station, according to police, who are now asking for help finding the suspect.
The 50-year-old victim was waiting on a northbound C platform at the 145th Street-St. Nicholas Avenue station around 4:30 p.m. on April 14, when the unidentified suspect walked up to him.
The suspect punched the man in the face, hit him in the head with a glass bottle, pushed him down a flight of stairs, and then made off with the man's wallet, according to police.
The suspect left the station and headed to an unknown location, while the victim declined medical attention at the scene, police said.
