Update: All Clear On Bomb Threat Phoned Into City Hall Wednesday

NEW HAVEN, CT — The all clear at City Hall according to reports. City Hall was evacuated late Wednesday afternoon after a bomb threat was made, officials said. According to New Haven Emergency Operations director Rick Fontana, a phone call was received just after at 4:15 p.m. with a person saying a bomb had been placed in the building. A nearby Orange Street building that is home to a number of city offices was also evacuated. A portion of Church Street was closed to traffic, albeit temporarily.
