SYNLawn Bay Area, a family run artificial grass installation company, is currently hiring for a Construction Project Supervisor to effectively manage crews and provide insights on completing projects in a timely manner. Chosen candidate will be in charge of quality control of high-quality artificial grass installation. This is a high-profile, hands-on position where leading by example to deliver the highest level of communication and customer service are expected. Prior artificial turf installation experience is a plus. Training is available to candidates that don't have prior artificial grass experience at starting pay, which will increase in a timely manner to the top pay available for this position. Benefits: $30 to $45 per hour depending on experience. Training Available to raise starting pay. $65 per hour on Prevailing Wage Projects Overtime Health Insurance 401K Annual Bonuses Job Requirements: Must have a minimum of 3 year's experience managing and leading crews successfully in the construction industry. Must be able to translate challenges and provide working solutions to crew members and company management and clients. Must be able to adapt easily with different Foremen installation methods. Must have knowledge of landscape construction tools and be willing to quickly learn the methods of skilled and quality artificial grass installation. Must communicate clearly and work closely with company management. Train new installation crew team members. Provide tailgate safety meetings and ensure safety / COVID protocols are being met at commercial jobsites. Provide feedback to management about crew dynamics (weaknesses and strengths). Collaborate with management about ideal crew placement and scheduling for different type of job challenges. Perform site visits prior to commencement of installation to clarify project scope and requirements. Job Responsibilities: Motivate and assist laborer's to effectively install project in a timely manner Provide a task list of achievable goals for the crew to strive for that day Deliver auxiliary materials to jobsite as needed Must Have: Active Driver’s License Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to work in the U.S. (State ID and Social Security Card) Not required but a benefit if you have the following: Bilingual (Fluent English and Spanish speaking) Artificial Grass Installation experience Forklift Certification Schedule and Location: This is a full-time position. Regular operating hours are M – F between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. with the occasional overtime. Our warehouse is located at Richmond, CA which is where you will report for work every day.
