Join Maternal Wellness Hikers on Mothers Day, Sunday May 8, 2022 under Atlanta's sweetest urban forestry of trees, Henderson Park Trails, a new location!!! We will meet in the parking lot at 9:30 am for registration and temp checks. We will trek off at 10:00 am. Don't forget your mask! 😷. This Mothers Day Hike is intentionally drawing attention to the Grandmother's, the YaYa's, Nana's, Granny's, Mima's and Big Mama! 🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾‍♂️🧘🏾 Now that some of the hospitals are allowing one other person to attend a birth OR if you are planning a Home Birth, you MAY want your mother to be there with you! I did! If you are interested and planning on your mother attending the birth of your baby, please invite her with YOU on this weeks hike. Many Grandmother's want to attend the birth of their grands, yet they are unsure how to be helpful. Wonder no more!!!! Mama Sarahn and Lealah Alghanee will guide you through the Veil of Birth to bring familiarity to you of the landmarks and milestones of Labor Land. We will reawaken the "Original Doula" in You! Yes, You!!! We will show you hands on techniques, breathing techniques and ways to bring comfort to her daughter in labor. Our hike will end with lunch on the lawn (or pavilion)! So pack your lunch, lunch baskets, blankets, chairs, and good energy! We look forward to hiking, sharing knowledge, and lunching with you! See you Sunday! ****What to Bring**** Beautiful energy, your partner or supporter and Grand Mama, a small backpack to carry your car keys, wet wipes, cell phone, and other personal items, water, comfortable walking shoes, a baby carrier for your littles, lunch, lunch baskets, blankets, chairs, and your smiles.
