Found Rooster

Oak Glen near Llagas, Gilroy CA

Hello, are you missing a American Game Rooster with a red plastic band around it's leg? It seems to have been injured, probably by a mountain lion or bob cat. I was able to capture him yesterday, he was hanging by the Chesboro Reservoir on Oak Glen Road in Morgan Hill. If you know of a good place to take him (like poultry/aviary rescue???) please forward contact info. I have him secured but prefer not to take him to the animal shelter and I am really not set up to take care of this Rooster. He seems to be a very sweet, kind guy.
