Drummer seeking Low Rock/Improv Jazz players

I am a gen x drummer with 10 years of experience on the drum kit. I have played mostly rock to this point. I have gone on tour, played a lot of gigs and even cut a record so I do not consider myself a novice. I'd love to form up or join a band in the vein of Morphine (Low Rock) or even something along the Free Jazz (Improv) style. I have no idea where to find such musicians so I'm posting here. I do not want to be in a cover band. Original content is my musical passion. I have music and links that I can share with you so you can hear my drumming. I do not read music if that matters to you. I do have backing vocal ability. I can commit to weekly rehearsals in the Eastbay region but I don't want to travel farther than that. Send me links or ideas and perhaps we can discuss.
