Keyboardist is looking to join the band. Pop, rock, dance, typical Top40 club mix. Influences: MJ, Queen, Chicago, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding, Ed Sheeran, some Chris Brown: Strong melody line with catchy lyrics, Max Martin style. Prefer some tribute band (i.e. Queen, MJ, etc), but ok with doing covers, a typical club mix that makes girls dance and guys to buy drinks: simple and energetic. I'm very technical, not just a piano player: can find or program the right sound to match the original band, or figure out what keyboard parts are needed for your original songs. Can play pretty much anything by ear, all I need is to hear the original tune (for covers) or chord progression for originals. Own bunch of keys and other gear (more than I need or can possibly use). Roland: V-Synth GT, Fantom G7, XP-30, D-50. RD-2000 and RD-700GX pianos. KORG: Kronos (several of them), Tritons, M1, M3, M50, R3 vocoder, bunch of smaller ones. Yamaha: Montage, Motif XS6 and XS7, bunch of pianos (CP4, P-255, etc.). Nord: Piano 4, Lead 3. PA: Full band set with QSC mains and subs (KW181, KW153), K12 monitors (used to do sound for hire). Would love to join a band based at the Peninsula or South Bay who practices regularly (at least once a week) and plays 1-2 times per month. Looking for fun, but committed: if practice or gig are set for certain day and time, I'll be there no matter what. I don't have "I can't make it today" excuses.
