CONFLICT KITCHEN: A dinner and dialogue about the refugee experience in Ventura County
CONFLICT KITCHEN uses the social relations of food to "break bread" and engage the public in meaningful conversation. This event centers on refugees who have made their way to Ventura County and their experiences. Guest speakers include:
Nataliia Poliakova, Ukrainian refugee
Dr. Sunghee Nam, CSUCI Sociology Professor
Jenya Files, Ukrainian and Ventura County Resident
A simple Ukrainian meal will be served. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
