Are you looking to learn a new trade? If so, we have a great opportunity for you. We are a well respected, custom woodworking shop that has been in business for over 30 years. We are currently expanding and need to fill multiple open positions. Starting pay will be based on experience, with the minimum being $18 per hour. Pay raises will be given as you gain expertise and are able to contribute more towards the completed projects. This is an excellent career to build towards since experienced wood workers can make over $40 per hour. We also offer paid vacation, paid holidays, and paid sick days. No experience required. We will teach you everything you need to know. You will be learning directly under a master millworker who has over 50 years of experience in the trade. Job responsibilities: - Assist experienced woodworkers in completing custom projects (no two projects are exactly alike) - learn how to use various shop tools to prepare lumber for production - sanding of completed projects - learn woodworking techniques that have been passed down for centuries - General shop clean up and organization - Delivery to jobsites using company vehicle Requirements: - Must be motivated to learn the trade - Must be 18 years or older - Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm - Must have a valid license with a good driving record - Must have reliable transportation to get to work - Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening - Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
