Long Island Park, Playground Undergoes Facelift

BELLMORE, NY — Construction is underway to renovate the playground at Newbridge Park in Bellmore. Town of Hempstead Councilman Chris Carini posted the latest on his Facebook page Monday morning. Carini said the construction is expected to be completed by the end of May. The park is also getting a state-of-the-art splash pad as part of the upgrade. Work is being done due to the Town's capital budget plan approved last year to improve area parks. "[I'm] looking forward to seeing the kids smiling faces," Carini wrote.
