DUTIES: Assists with the configuration and operation of stage lighting, sound equipment, rigging and other stage equipment to meet production requirements within a 150-seat state-of-the-art community theater. Assists user groups with set construction and production operations as needed. Helps install and maintain theater equipment and maintain facility. Successful applicants will be required to work evening and weekend hours. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.1 year of experience in the technical aspects of theater production, including the operation and routine maintenance of rigging, sets, lighting and sound systems or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredKnowledge and training in lighting, electrical, mechanical, acoustic and/or safety engineering principles, pyrotechnic and/or rigging licenses.Prior technical experience working with theater companies and/or specific education/training in theater engineering is highly desirable. Licenses or Certifications: CPR/AED Modified First Aid or ability to obtain certification within 6-months of hire. Special Requirements: Fingerprinting /background check may be required.
