BANGOR, ME — The remains of a Maine woman missing since 2019 were found last month in a wooded, industrial area of Bangor, Portland police said Wednesday. The body of Cathy Pride, who was reported missing by her family on May 8, 2019, was found near Odlin Road on April 5, according to police. A passerby spotted her remains and contacted police, authorities said. The remains were identified by a medical examiner. The cause and manner of death have not been determined, authorities said. Police said they don't believe Pride's death was suspicious. The Portland Police Department currently has six active missing person cases. One person has been missing for almost 50 years, authorities said. Anyone with information that could aid in a missing person investigation should call 207-874-8575.
