WAUKESHA, WI — A teen accused of carjacking and sexually assaulting a woman was charged as an adult and appeared in court for the first time on Friday, court records showed.
Khalil Perry, 14, was charged with multiple crimes, including first-degree sexual assault with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery with use of force, driving a car without the owner's consent and kidnapping with a dangerous weapon.
The judge set a $250,000 bail for Perry and ordered him to submit to being monitored by GPS and not come within a mile of the Waukesha Public Library or the woman.
The woman told the Waukesha Police Department that she was robbed and her car was stolen on Nov. 30, Waukesha police captain Dan Baumann told Patch.
Police arrested Perry after they spotted a car that matched the woman's. Police said Perry ran from officers, and Les Paul Middle School was put on temporary lockdown as police searched for the teen.
