Join a new book club hosted by Remake Learning's Pittsburgh Regional STE(A)M Ecosystem! Our first book will be for fans of science fiction, fantasy, and post-apocalyptic reads: The Fifth Season. This is the first volume of The Broken Earth Trilogy and received the 2016 Hugo Award for Best Novel. The Fifth Season is set on a supercontinent called the Stillness that is constantly rocked by seismic activity, some of it devastating to civilization and causing an extended winter referred to as a “Fifth Season.” The STE(A)M book club will meet at the University of Pittsburgh's Hill District Community Engagement Center on Friday nights in June.
