PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Police in Prince William County have identified a suspect in connection with the shooting at a youth football game at Benton Middle School on Saturday. Authorities are looking for Isaiah Malik Gordon, a 23-year-old from Dumfries. Prince William County police officers obtained arrest warrants for Gordon this week, but they have been unable to find him. Now, the Prince William County Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to Gordon's arrest. The shooting occurred around 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, police said. Investigators believe that the shooting occurred after an argument between Gordon and people he knew at the youth football game. When the argument escalated, Gordon pulled out a gun and shot two men, the police department claimed in its report. Police described the victims as a 24-year-old man and a 33-year-old man. The 24-year-old was flown to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. On Sunday, police said he was expected to survive. The 33-year-old suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was taken to the hospital before police arrived on the scene. The police department said officers recovered a firearm at the scene on Saturday. Authorities described Gordon as a Black man with medium complexion. He is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 120 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. Photo courtesy of the Prince William County Police Department.
