Responsibilities of this Early Childhood position will include but are not necessarily limited to the following:* Ensure the safety of each child enrolled in the class whether in the classroom, on the playground, or in common areas* Maintain regular observation and evaluation of children's development and progress as directed by administration* Accept and maintain responsibility on a daily basis for the ordered arrangement, appearance, decor, and cleanliness of the learning environment of the classroom* Serve as a role model for the children in the areas of attitude, speech and actions on a daily basis * Treat each child with dignity and respect* Encourage children's development in the areas of building self-confidence, problem solving, and taking responsibility for their actions* Interact with each child on a daily basis through circle time, centers, snacks, lunchtime, playground, free play, etc Qualifications: Infant/Toddler Lead: Preferred Qualifications: * 1-3 years of childcare experience Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field • Infant and Toddler/Preschool Child Care and Education Credential;or •Infant Toddler Child/ Preschool Development Associate Credential; AND Two years of experience related to caring for children Or Child Development Associate Credential AND Two years of experience caring for children, one of which must be related to caring for infants or toddlers orPreschoolers(3-6 years old )OR 9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field, with a plan of study leading to: • Infant and Toddler/Preschool Child Care and Education Credential; or • Infant Toddler/Preschool Child Development Associate Credential; or • Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related fieldJob Types: Full-time, Part-time
