Forward-thinking and healing dialogue to help our community as a whole. Learning to understand one another and creating a better tomorrow Unconscious bias, the lens through which we see the world based on our experiences and background, and microaggressions, the unintentional words or actions that communicate negative messages, can impact how we interact with each other in our community. When we add the additional lens of different generations, where words or phrases may have different meanings based on an individual’s age, our interactions can become more complicated. Join in this dialogue on how we can continue our efforts to create a respectful and inclusive community by understanding what unconscious bias and microaggressions look like and how we can avoid them.
