Prepare For Third Street To Briefly Close For Work: Geneva Officials

GENEVA, IL — Residents who plan to drive through or visit downtown Geneva Saturday should prepare for some extra traffic, officials said Wednesday. A section of South Third Street, north of James Street and south of State Street, will be closed from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday. Construction crews will be replacing rooftop HVAC units at 21 S. Third St., according to city officials. If drivers want to avoid the area, officials recommend they use Second and Fourth streets as alternate routes.
