The Assistant Director of Student Health Services is a part-time position (10 month) and is a member of the Student Development and Engagement staff reporting directly to the Director of Student Health Services. The assistant director is responsible for assisting with administrative duties of the department, the planning and implementation of student-centered activities as well as providing student health care. Assess and treat illness or injury and administer care to students according to the treatment protocol of the Health Center. Refer students to appropriate medical facilities when higher level of care is indicated.Maintain student medical records with prompt and accurate documentation; ensure confidentiality and maintain orderly filing.Develop and maintain relationships with outside medical resources in the community to assist with the needs of the Immaculata campus community.In collaboration with Director of Health Services coordinate health education programs and services that focus on the promotion of healthy lifestyle choices, prevention of illness and the reduction of high-risk behaviors of college students while supporting the mission of the University.  Requirements: Assistant Director must be a registered nurse (R.N.) with current license in the state of Pennsylvania with active experience in direct patient care and current CPR certification. Requires the ability to act as a team player while working in collaboration with multiple departments across the University.  Proficient in Microsoft Office suite as well as a working knowledge of social media platforms. Excellent oral and written skills and have the ability to multitask.
