OAKLAND, CA — Oakland Police have arrested a person involved in a shooting that preceded an officer's injuries from a collision on Sunday in Oakland. On Monday, Police released more information about he Sunday shooting. OPD said a person fired a gun shortly after 8:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Peralta Avenue. Officers saw the shooting and saw the shooter run into a nearby home afterward, according to police. Another person sped away from the scene in a vehicle that allegedly hit an officer's marked vehicle. The crash injured the officer, but not seriously, police said.
