Cascade Manor is seeking a Full-Time Renovations Technician to join our Maintenance team!  This position will provide general renovation services for maintenance related work at the community in an effort to promote a progressive customer service culture. How You'll Do It: Perform light electrical and plumbing installations. Provide general maintenance services. Prepare all necessary surfaces to receive sealers, stain, or wall covering Repair/prepare drywall and plaster surfaces to receive paint or wall covering. Apply sealers, paints, and stains by the current standard professional methods of the industry. Clean, maintain and make minor repairs to all equipment used in the preparing, painting, and wall covering process. Match existing colors of paints and stain, mix paints or stains, properly mask and protect areas not to be painted. Use all necessary and proper safety equipment (including PPE) and techniques when performing all levels of the job. Maintain Renovations Shop in a clean and orderly fashion. Assist in estimating and ordering adequate supplies, materials, and equipment to perform each task/project as needed. About You: One (1) year of experience in commercial construction, renovations or a related field. Experience in painting, light electrical and plumbing maintenance, drywall repair, finishing and texturing, caulking. Proficient experience in methods of surface preparations to accept each level of finish work; including but not limited to: sealer, base and top coat and/or custom finishes by current professional industry methods and techniques. Ability to properly use ladders and scaffolding. Must have experience in household renovations, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting. Will be required to be comfortable around computers. Will need strong customer service and organizational skills, and be able to work alone.  Help us keep our seniors safe.  Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for employment.
